Had a great interview with “BBC Midlands today” early Saturday 16th July which was aired on BBC Midlands today at 17:55 Saturday evening, which has reached over 80 thousand views on facebook!!!
We met up with the madventure group in London on sunday 17th and headed straight to Dover docks. We had a one and a half hour wait trying to get through French security checks at Dover, which isn’t as bad as the wait some people had at the port. We then travelled 150 miles from Calais in France and arrived at Durnal, our first campsite. On Monday morning we travelled to our next campsite which was in Augsburg, Germany. Whilst here we visited Dachau concentration camp before continuing our journey over the boarder into Austria. We drove to the next camp site in Salzburg, Austria where we stayed for two nights. After our nights in Salzburg we headed for Budapest in Hungary, where we had a tour of the town and saw a few of the remarkable, old buildings. We then drove through the Romanian boarder and ended up wild camping by a nice river.
